Home buyers in Maine look no further than Downeast Real Estate

Posted on December 8, 2006. Filed under: Maine real estate |

I’ve been on a hunt for Maine real estate lately and finally have found the broker I want to go with–Downeast Realty. They’re a locally owned and operated real estate broker servicing both buyer and selleters with a long history in the Maine real estate market. As a testament to their success and extraordinary service, over 85% of their business comes from repeat and referral real estate customers (hopefully that’ll be me soon!).

There’s a lot to consider when buying a piece of real estate, and quite frankly the search is pretty overwhelming. The Southern Maine housing market seems to change daily–I want something that meets my needs, but is a good value for the money, and I want to be close to Portland but also near the woods, maybe even the beach… These kinds of questions make me feel really good about dealing with a local real estate agent who understands the complexities of buying and living in Maine, and can help me find a home that really matches my real estate needs.

i love guys that drive trucks!

If you’re a local yourself, then fine.

But be very careful. When you’re on a local’s turf, you may be expected to play by the locals’ rules, which may be slanted in their favor.

Sometimes a national realtor might be more apt to play by national rules.

Of course, the closer you get to Boston, the safer you’re inclined to be.
